He has a bit a of love to hate 'overpowering everyone around him/look at me' personality.
On the other hand, he is completely insane and so out of the box in his way of building cars that I kinda like him.

A bit like John Mayer. A complete asshole, but damn he has some music skills when he goes of the poppy beaten track.
